All Vietnamese contestants bring home awards at Asian Physics Olympiad 2022
PANO - A ceremony to conclude the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) 2022 took place on May 31.

Accordingly, all eight Vietnamese students participating in the event won prizes, including one silver, two bronze medals and five merit certificates.
The Vietnamese team ranked 8th after those from China, Russia, Australia, Taiwan (China), Kazakhstan, India, and Thailand.
Notably, 12th-grader Le Minh Hoang from Hanoi University of Science’s High School for Gifted Students bagged the silver medal. Also from the school, 10th-grader Vo Hoang Hai and 11th-grader Vu Ngo Hoang Duong pocketed the bronze medals, while 11th-grader Nguyen Tuan Minh and 12th-grader Cao Van Dong were presented with a merit certificate each.
This year, the APhO 2022 was hosted by India via online version between May 23 and 31. It drew 28 contingents with 218 contestants.
Meanwhile, 12th-graders Phung Cong Hieu from Vinh Phuc province, Nguyen Dang Phuc from Bac Ninh province, and Vo Truong Thien Ky from Phu Yen province received merit certificates.
