PANO - Many Tet gifts have been presented to the poor and policy beneficiaries ahead of the Lunar New Year.
The Political University inquired after and presented gifts, totally valued at over VND 50 million, to seriously-wounded soldiers at the Thuan Thanh Convalescence in Bac Ninh province, and to some policy families in the locality.

The university also handed over 3 houses to policy families in Hung Yen and Ninh Binh provinces, and Hanoi.
* 300 ethnic minority people in Dak Nhoong commune, Dakglei district, Kon Tum province, received Tet gifts, worth VND 300,000 each, from the Kon Tum Provincial Border Guard Command. Another VND 1.5 million was presented to people in Dak Ga village, Dak Nhoong commune, for a New Year’s Eve party.
* Bac Lieu province gave VND 11 billion to more than 30,600 poor households to help them have a warm Lunar New Year.
*Coffee 15 Co.Ltd. under Military Zone 5 offered warm clothing and rice to policy families and poor households in Dac Lac province’s districts of Krong Buc, Cu M’gar, and Krong Pach, Gia Lai province‘s district Ia Grai, and Dac Nong province’s district Dac G’long. The company also presented nearly VND 350 million gifts to twinned localities and units.
* Phu Tho Province spent nearly VND 1.7 billion from its budget to ensure a happy Tet for policy beneficiaries.
* The Central Region Technical School under the General Department of Technology inquired after and presented 52 gifts, valued at VND 17 million in total, to Raglai ethnic minority people in Giang Ly commune, Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province.
* Lam Dong province spent VND 15 billion to support nearly 90,000 local policy beneficiaries for a warm Lunar New Year.
