PANO –Marking the 70th Vietnam Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27th 1947 - July 27th 2017), agencies under the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) have visited and presented gifts to policy households and paid tribute to fallen soldiers.
* VNPT Net Corporation handed over a gratitude house to the needy family of Ho Chi Trung and Tran Thi Kim Hoa in Mong Nghe Bac village, Que Phu commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province. The new house was built at the cost of VND 100 million donated by more than 3,200 officials and employees of the Corporation. At the handover, a passbook worth VND 10 million and gifts were also given to the beneficiaries.
* Staff of the VNPT branch of Thua Thien - Hue province also visited and presented gifts to three Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and laid wreaths and offered incense at the War Cemetery of Phong Dien district.
* VNPT International (VNPT-I) paid visits and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers that it committed to take care of at Liem Can convalescence center for seriously wounded soldiers in Ha Nam province. The company also assisted the center with VND 20 million.
These annual significant and meaningful activities demonstrated VNPT staff’s morality “When drinking water, remember its source”, and their gratitude to heroic martyrs and national contributors who had sacrificed their youth and lives for the national liberation and reunification.
