PANO - The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will begin providing e-tickets in early February, 2007 after reaching an agreement onsuitable forms of receipts for e-tickets with the Ministry of Finance.

Having booked an e-ticket, passenger will receive a receipt with certified stamp of Vietnam Airlines. This will be the lawful payment voucher, which is considered as the red bill.

According to Vietnam Airlines, International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced that paper air tickets will not be accepted by 2008. At present, both e-tickets and paper tickets areexisting with the samevalue.
