Unilever Vietnam has opened its biggest and most modern distribution center in Vietnam at the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Thuan An District, Binh Duong Province.
This 65,000sq.m centre is designed to be energy-effective and managed by a SAP software.
Moreover, the opening of this center aims to meet the growing development of Unilever’s logistics in next five years and Unilever’s service in product distribution to southern customers, stocks for Unilever Vietnam’s secondary distribution centers and to 18 countries in ASEAN countries and in the world.
Addressing the opening ceremony, JV Raman, Unilever Vietnam’s Chairman, said that the over US $20 million center would help fulfill their growth plan in coming years and create jobs for over 700 people, contributing to the socio-economic development of Vietnam in general, and Binh Duong Province in particular.
