PANO - A solemn ceremony to observe 50 years of the Tua Hai victory (January 26th, 1960 – January 26th, 2010) was held on the evening of January 25th in the Tua Hai Victory historical and cultural site, Tay Ninh.
Present at the ceremony were officials from central and local authorities, organisations and the public.
50 years ago, Tua Hai victory opened an uprising movement in Tay Ninh and lessons about the Party leadership, mass mobilisation and patriotism of the army, and people did not only contribute to the final victory of the national liberation war, but also remain significant in current situations.
The celebration is a chance for local Party, authorities, military forces and people to recall the heroic victory and to revisit some useful lessons, aiming to fulfill the main tasks of socio-economic development, social security and defence enhancement.
