PANO - A Petrovietnam Group’s delegation, headed by Dinh La Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Group, and Le Minh Hong, Vice-Chairman of the Group, paid a working visit to the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) on March 16th.
Major-General Le Phuc Nguyen, Editor-in-Chief, briefed the group’s leaders on the newspaper’s achievements over the past 60 years. He also highly valued the role of the Petrovietnam, a State-owned group, for its great contributions to the nation’s development.
Mr. Dinh La Thang applauded the newspaper’s achievements and reported the PAN’s leaders about the Petrovietnam’s outstanding results over the past years. He laid stress on the group’s strategic economic role as well as the successful implementation of building the Party and the organisation.
Furthermore, the Petrovietnam effectively took part in social security programs in many localities across the nation. Especially, after Japan’s powerful earthquake and tsunami catastrophe, the group’s staff donated US $100.000 to the Japanese Embassy to support the Japanese people.
The two units’ leaders agreed to strengthen ties, boost the effective cooperation and work together to successfully accomplish their political tasks, contributing to the nation’s and the army’s development.
