N.A. Chairman commends Huu Nghi Hospital’s commitment to public health excellence
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed his confidence in Hanoi-based Huu Nghi Hospital’s continued efforts to uphold its fine traditions, foster unity, and achieve even greater success in protecting and improving public health, while addressing a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors’ Day on February 27.
On behalf of Party and State leaders, the N.A. Chairman extended his best regards and wishes to all doctors, medical staff, and employees of the hospital. Man expressed his delight at the medical facility's continuous growth and development, following the guidance and vision set out by President Ho Chi Minh in his letter to a national health conference 70 years ago.
Man urged the health sector and Huu Nghi Hospital in particular to effectively implement laws recently passed, including the revised Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, and the laws amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy and the Law on Health Insurance, which he said are crucial for the sector’s development.

He urged the hospital to upgrade its infrastructure and enhance the professionalism and service spirit of its medical staff. Recalling President Ho Chi Minh’s famous words “A good doctor is like an affectionate mother,” the N.A. Chairman stressed the important role of skilled and ethical human resources.
The leader noted that a recently-adopted N.A. resolution piloting some special mechanisms to create breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation provides a foundation for Huu Nghi Hospital to modernize its techniques and enhance healthcare services. He also asked the hospital to strengthen cooperation with domestic and international medical institutions to enhance patient care and professional activities.
Nguyen The Anh, Director of Huu Nghi Hospital, looked back on the hospital's development, and highlighted its efforts to enhance organizational efficiency and adopt cutting-edge medical techniques in line with national digital transformation policies.
On the occasion, N.A. Chairman Man presented the "Meritorious Doctor" title to two individuals from Huu Nghi Hospital in recognition of their outstanding performance.
