Under the theme “Communications and policy: Vietnam’s and Korea’s Experience”, the conference includes two sessions with nine reports and Q&A sessions among participants.

At the conference, participants underscored the role of the media in the policy making process as well as the implementation and analysis of policies, and pinpointed challenges, requirements and solutions to improving the effectiveness of policy communications.

Participants agreed that building mechanisms to direct and coordinate policy communications plays an important role in the implementation of policies. Besides, communications should also accompany the implementation of policies in reality.
