Around 150 domestic and foreign scientists had an opportunity to deliver their research experiences and practical application of nanotechnology at an international conference held in the central province of Binh Dinh on August 5.
Attending the event was Prof. Klaus von Klizing, the German physicist awarded the Nobel Prize in 1985.
As part of the 9 th Meet Vietnam programme, the five-day conference themed “Nanotechnology from basics to practical application” enables young Vietnamese experts to learn about research and the application of the technology in life.
Notably, nanotechnology is being applied to preserve Vietnam’s ancient Cham tower.
Earlier, the programme’s organising board and Quy Nhon University worked together to kick off the first astrophysics course.
The course draws the participation of 30 domestic and foreign lecturers and students, and will last until August 9.
