Former soldiers show gratitude to fallen soldiers

PANO – 350 war invalids, war veterans, former volunteer youths, policy beneficiaries and those who had contributed to the nation from 16 Southern provinces and cities and 16 districts of Hanoi are participating in a program to pay gratitude to fallen soldiers and encourage naval troops who are defending the Southwestern sea and islands.
During the program, the delegation will present gifts from the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to troops of Naval Region 5 and policy beneficiaries in Ca Mau province.
The activity is organised by the Centre for Vietnamese Tradition and History Education from July 15th to 22nd to mark the 67th anniversary of war invalids and martyrs’ day as well as to promote the beautiful tradition, “When drinking water, remember who dug the well” and revolutionary heroism.
