The Project Management Unit for the construction of a new National Assembly Building and Ba Dinh Hall yesterday signed a contract with Germany’s GMP International GMBH Inros Lackner AG to consult and design the new National Assembly Building in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the German side will set up the project, provide architectural blueprints and cost estimates and monitor the construction work.
The German company will also construct an underground car park, with a capacity for 500 cars, under a square along Bac Son Street, upgrade Doc Lap (Independence) Street and Hoang Van Thu Street.
Earlier, the German partner was awarded the first prize for its architecture design of the new National Assembly Building.
The site where the construction will take place will be handed over to the German company next month.
