PANO – Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Hul Phany led a delegation of former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military experts, who had served the international duty in Cambodia, and nearly 30 Cambodian students studying in Hanoi to visit the Northern Province of Hai Duong on February 8th.

At the working session, President of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association Vu Mao recalled the special traditional relationship between the two countries, especially in the war to overthrow the genocidal regime, restoring freedom and independence for the Cambodians.
After briefing the delegates on the province’s socio-economic development, Chairman of Hai Duong People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Hien hailed the successful cooperation over the pass time between the two countries in general and between the province with Cambodian localities in particular.
For his part, Cambodian Ambassador Hul Phany thanked the province’s leaders for the warm reception and reaffirmed the meaningful support of Vietnam to help the Cambodians win the Pol Pot regime, valued Vietnam’s results in the national construction and defence cause, and wished for further development of their relations in future.
The same day, the delegation visited the Con Son-Kiep Bac relic site in Chi Linh town, Hai Duong province.
