15th N.A.’s 9th plenary session to open on May 5
The 15th National Assembly (N.A.) will convene its 9th session at the N.A. building in Hanoi on May 5.

Before the opening ceremony, leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, and N.A. deputies will pay a floral tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
At 8a.m., the legislature will hold a preparatory meeting when deputies will listen to an address by N.A. Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Member of the N.A. Standing Committee Le Quang Tung will present a report on revisions to the proposed agenda of the 9th session. The N.A. will then discuss and vote to adopt the agenda.
At 9a.m., the 9th session will officially kick off, with the opening sitting to be broadcast live on channels VTV1 of the Vietnam Television and VOV1 of Radio the Voice of Vietnam.
