Troops promote training to protect national maritime sovereignty

PANO - The Naval Region 5 Command is tasked to manage and protect national sovereignty over the Southwestern waters and islands, from Ganh Hao (Bac Lieu province) to Ha Tien city (Kien Giang province) and the contiguous area between Vietnam and Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia.

To effectively perform the command’s missions, its troops have always heightened vigilance, promoted combat readiness, practiced hard to hone their skills, and firmly safeguarded national maritime sovereignty.
