PANO - At Nhu Xuan shooting range, Air Force Division 371 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service, has successfully organized a live-fire, bombing exercise in which pilots and the flight crews practiced flying, bombing, and firing ground targets.

During the exercise which took place both day and night, Su-30MK2, Su-22M4, helicopters Mi-8 and Mi-17 performed a number of practices, including shooting, bombing, launching rockets, diving, maneuvering in a simple and complex manner in squads and in individual form.

The exercise aimed to evaluate the combat training results of the division over the past time, and at the same time give participating pilots a chance to practice, improve their competence, stance, and acquire more combat experience so as to meet the future task requirements.
