PANO - The 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31), the region’s biggest sporting event, was officially kicked off in Hanoi on May 12 at My Dinh National Stadium.

In the first competing day, Vietnamese athletes won 15 gold medals in different events, including fencing, bodybuilding, and kickboxing, among others.
