At their meeting in Brussels on the sidelines of a commemorative summit in celebration of the 45th anniversary of ASEAN - E.U. relations, the minister spoke highly of enthusiasm and value that the VINEU brings to the OV community and the country.
He asked the organisation to expand its network to form a ‘common home’ for the exchange and update of new ideas and technologies in the world, the region and Vietnam.
VINEU is a non-profit organisation established in Berlin on October 16 with a target of bringing together Vietnamese intellectuals and experts to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam.
The main activities of VINEU network will include consultation and training, investment and business networking, as well as developing a community for experts and technicians. It will coordinate with the National Innovation Center (NIC) to deploy various innovation activities domestically and internationally as part of the Vietnam Innovation Network (VIN), an initiative established in 2018 by the MPI in collaboration with the ministries of Science and Technology, Education and Training, and Foreign Affairs.
To date, VIN has 1,000 members across 20 countries, and five sub-networks in Germany, Japan, Australia, the Republic of Korea, and Europe.
