The event, the first of its kind that has been held in the RoK with the sponsorship of the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, aims to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Representatives from the Vietnamese embassy, Vietnamese organizations, Seocho district, Hongcheon district, and Korean organizations, and overseas Vietnamese attended the event.

Nguyen Viet Anh, Minister Counselor from the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, said the event is meaningful to the Vietnamese community in the RoK, helping to honor and introduce Vietnam's cultural and historical heritage to Koreans.

He applauded efforts of the ALOV and the KOVECA in organizing the event, hoping that it will be held annually.

At the event, in addition to offering incense to Hung Kings, participants enjoyed performances with Vietnamese traditional musical instruments and folk dances. Korean traditional hanbok costumes and Vietnamese cuisine were promoted at the event.
