Zero VND supermarket established to help COVID-19 affected people
PANO – The Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Military Command’s Women Union, in coordination with the Youth Union, Women Union of Division 302 (Military Region 7) and local union, on July 15, launched a mobile Zero VND supermarket to offer food to COVID-19-affected people in Phu My town.
On this occasion, the organizing panel presented 300 gifts, worth 70 million VND in total, including rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, instant noodles and 1,500 kg of green vegetables, from sponsors to the needy people.
On the same day, Minh Dam Regiment (Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Military Command) and the Phuoc Hung commune People’s Committee also established a Zero VND supermarket to serve the local people.
In the framework of the program, they handed over 130 gifts, worth 350,000 VND each, including necessities, to COVID-19 hit people in Phuoc Hung commune.

The program aimed to share difficulties with the locals while affirming the care of the armed forces to the locality and people amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
