Texting campaign launched to pay gratitude to martyrs
PANO - The Vietnam Martyrs' Family Support Association (VMFSA), in collaboration with the Air Defense-Air Force Service, launched a mobile texting campaign to raise fund for the “Gratitude to Martyrs” Fund on June 6 in Hanoi.
Accordingly, each SMS “TALS” sent to number 1405 means a donation of VND 20,000 to the campaign, and the program will last until August 22, 2019.
The campaign shows the national tradition of “when drinking water, remember its source” and celebrates the 72nd Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27).

Also at the event, the organization panel presented gifts to families of three soldiers of the Border Guard High Command and the Air Defense-Air Force Service who died in action in June 2019.
Since its establishment, the VMFSA has mobilized VND 79 billion, including a big sum raised from SMS campaigns, to support veterans, national contributors, and relatives of martyrs.
