There are 88 poor and 97 near-poor households, 127 families with disabled members, and 22 needy students in Hien Quan commune. The local Party committee, authorities, and organizations have mobilized all resources and developed effective solutions to assist needy local people. Thanks to that, the locals’ spiritual and material lives have improved.
Addressing the gift-presenting ceremony, Senior Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, PAN’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief, said that the small gifts were expected to help the recipients welcome a happy Tet. The activity aims promote the national tradition of “protect and help one another in times of distress”
According to Le Khac Hiep, Vice President of Vingroup, on the occasion of Tet holiday 2021, the group spent VND 60 billion on 100,000 gifts for poor households nationwide.

Needy people in Hien Quan commune receive Tet gifts |
On behalf of the local political organizations, Luu Van Hieu, Secretary of Hien Quan commune, thanked the PAN and Thien Tam Fund for their care and hoped more support from organizations and benefactors nationwide will reach locals.
At the ceremony, locals also presented 97 Tet gifts from Major General Bui Hai Son, Commander of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, to extremely disadvantaged households in the commune.
The gifts for people in Hien Quan commune are among 1,400 Tet gifts presented by the PAN and Thien Tam Fund to those in need in Hanoi, Hai Phong city, and the provinces of Dien Bien, Thua Thien-Hue, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Ha Nam and Yen Bai.
