On July 27, Reconnaissance Unit No.2 of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command held a ceremony to give 100 gifts to support people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Dong Nai province. The gifts, worth 100 million VND in total, included milk, rice, face masks, soap, medical protective clothing, and 500,000 VND each.

After receiving the gifts, the local authorities promised to hand over the gifts to the recipients as soon as possible and thanked the unit for taking care of the needy people.
* The Dong Nai provincial Military Command has just launched a “Zero VND” supermarket to assist poor people and workers in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in Thanh Phu commune, Vinh Cuu district. During the event, over 400 gifts, including food, vegetables, eggs, and rice were given to unemployed people and workers.
In addition, the provincial Military Command mobilized over 2.5 tons of vegetables to present to people in the lockdown wards of Tan Tien and Tan Phong in Bien Hoa city of the province.
* On the same day, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command delivered medical equipment and supplies to support the Dong Nai provincial Military Command to ensure COVID-19 prevention and control.

The medical supplies included 1,000 pieces of medical protective clothing; 20,000 medical masks; 3,000 cloth face masks; 2,000 medical gloves; 10 boxes of Chloramine B; and 400 bottles of hand sanitizer, among others.
Addressing the ceremony, its Deputy Commander Major General Le Ngoc Hai affirmed that the unit has always taken care of COVID-19 hit-people, contributing to combating the pandemic and ensuring happy and safe lives for people.
* According to the Khanh Hoa provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, from 4:00pm on July 26 to 4:00pm on July 27, Khanh Hoa province recorded 279 more positive cases of SARS-CoV-2.
Therefore, the provincial Military Command immediately quarantined 3,588 F1 cases as well as mobilized troops and medical staff for COVID-19 prevention and control in the area.
* On the same day, the Tam Quang Border Post of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with sponsors and local authorities, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a house to Mrs. Vi Thi The, a 75-year-old woman in Tam Quang border commune, Tuong Duong district.
