* The delegation of the Engineer Corps and Technology Center for Bomb and Mine Disposal (BOMICEN) extended Tet greetings and presented 50 gifts, worth over VND 60 million, to national contributors’ families, disadvantaged people and books to Cam Chau Primary and Secondary Schools in Cam Chau commune, Cam Thuy district, Thanh Hoa province.
* The Tank-Armored Corps presented gifts, worth more than VND 600 million, to beneficiaries, the needy, Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers, and war veterans in Thuan Thanh district of Bac Ninh province and Duy Tien district of Ha Nam province; and gifts, from VND 500,000 to VND 2 million each, to officers of the corps.
* The Ha Nam provincial Military Command recently handed over 13 gratitude houses, worth VND 70 million each; 12 saving books, worth VND 10 million each; and means of production, worth VND 10 million each, to 12 families. The meaningful activity demonstrated the Ministry of National Defense’s care for policy beneficiary families, contributing to strengthening military-civilian relations.
* The delegation of Military Hospital 105 under the General Department of Logistics extended New Year greetings and handed over gifts, worth VND 800,000 each, to nine Vietnamese heroic mothers in Son Tay town, Hanoi; and gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to five policy beneficiary families.
* On January 17, the Youth Union of Thai Nguyen University organized a “Students and Spring” program, the eighth of its kind, to grant 100 gifts (worth VND 1 million each) to needy students.
* On January 19, the Quang Ninh provincial Military Command presented Tet gifts to needy students of Quang Phong and Quang Son 1 Primary Schools, Hai Ha district. The activity aimed to bring a happy Tet to the province’s needy students.
