Military unit provides free health check-up for needy people
PANO - Corps 16, in association with the local leadership of Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province, kicked off free health check-ups and medicine provision and gift presentation to policy beneficiary families, national contributors and needy people on July 6.
The activity was to mark the 70th Day of Vietnam Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27).
Local people in Binh Phuoc province receive free health check-ups and medicine.
Accordingly, the corps’ units will offer free health check-ups and medicines to more than 800 policy beneficiary families, national contributors and disadvantaged people, as well as presented 102 gifts, worth VND 300,000 each, to needy families.
In addition, Corps 16 also coordinated with local departments to dissemination information about guidelines and policies of the Party and State for policy beneficiary families, national contributors, and wounded soldiers.
The event will run until July 8.
