Over the past time, religious organizations in Binh Duong province have launched various programs to encourage and mobilize religious followers to strictly observe the Party's guidelines and State’s policies and laws, effectively participate in local movements, and strengthen economic development to raise their living standards. They have also contributed to the efforts of Military Region 7 in combating wrongful allegations of hostile forces.

Speaking at the meeting, Gen. Cuong highly appreciated the important contribution of religious dignitaries, organizations, and followers in Binh Duong to strengthening military-civilian ties and building a strong whole people’s defense and people’s heart posture. 

The GS Chief asked religious dignitaries to continue to disseminate the Party's guidelines and State’s policies and laws to the religious community; mobilize religious followers to participate in building and consolidating national defense and security, especially in implementing the strategy of safeguarding the Fatherland in the new situation and building a firm whole people’s heart posture.

He added that religious dignitaries should mobilize religious followers to actively participate in the fight against hostile forces’ tricks of taking advantage of democracy, human rights, ethnicity, and religion issues to sabotage the country, divide the great bloc of national unity and the relations among religions.
