Military units to conduct more activities for policy beneficiaries
PANO – Wounded and sick soldiers, family members of fallen soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and heroes of the People’s Armed Forces across the country will be provided with free health check-ups and medicines by military doctors from now to July 27. Working delegations of military medical workers will also visit and present gifts to policy beneficiaries and introduced some disease prevention and birth control methods to locals.
The activities are conducted under Plan 382/KH-QY recently approved by leader of the Ministry of National Defense prior to the 70
th anniversary of Vietnamese Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs. They demonstrate the love and responsibilities of the army for those who devoted to the nation, making contributions to strengthening the military-civilian relationship and improving people’s health.
Accordingly, the ministry assigned the Department of Military Medicine to instructing and inspecting healthcare activities of military hospitals’ working delegations. Meanwhile, the Department of Information and Training under the General Department of Politics will instruct units to popularize those activities. Military units and hospitals are requested to closely cooperate with local Party committees and authorities to ensure the quality and efficiency of the program.
