PANO - A delegation of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), led by its deputy director Senior Lieutenant General Do Can laid wreath and offered incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien special national relic site in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province on August 11.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to and respect for President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Party and people of Vietnam and the father of the Vietnamese armed forces, a national hero, and a world-honored man of culture.
Though President Ho Chi Minh passed away, his great career and noble example always stay with the homeland and the Vietnam People’s Army. His thought, morality, and lifestyle always serve as the ideological foundation, the guideline for all actions, guiding the way for the revolutionary cause of Vietnam to go from one victory to another.
At the event, General Can and his entourage promised to constantly study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style. They will exert all-out efforts to complete all assignments, contributing to the victorious realization of resolutions adopted at the 13th National Party Congress and the 11th Military Party Congress. They will also contribute to speeding up the national renewal process, construction and protection, beautifying the noble virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers for a prosperous country, and happiness for people.
