Last year, the Party Committee of the Nam Dinh provincial Military Command comprehensively implemented local defense-military tasks while strictly observing combat readiness and COVID-19 prevention and control regulations, as well as building concrete plans for the construction of military projects in the provincial defensive area in the 2021-2025 period and the following years.

Reportedly, the provincial military command actively made recommendations to the provincial leaders to successfully conduct three provincial-level and 10 district-level defensive area exercises, and gained high results at the provincial armed force’s competitions and defense sports events, and more.
Meanwhile, the provincial military agencies have ensured logistic supplies for a happy and safe lunar New Year (Tet) for troops as well as inquired after and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries.
Visiting the Nam Dinh provincial Border Guard Command, the delegation was briefed on the command’s task performance over the past time.
In particular, in 2021, the command closely followed situations at sea, conducted regular patrol along the maritime borderline, boosted immigration management, and implemented drastic measures to fight against different kinds of crimes.
Also the command strictly embraced and implemented the higher levels’ resolutions and directives on combat readiness regulations during the Tet festival.
During the working visit to X20 Nam Dinh One-member Limited Liability Company, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San praised the unit’s achievements in 2021.
The defense leader required the unit to set higher targets than those in the previous years, maintain combat readiness posture, thoroughly grasp situational developments to timely handle unexpected issues, and ensure a cozy, healthy, safe, and economical Tet holiday for troops.
As the Tet is drawing nearer, General Vu Hai San extended Tet greetings and presented Tet gifts to the officers and soldiers of Nam Dinh province's armed force.
* On the same day, the delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to the Military Region 3 (MR3) Command and Hai Phong city's Military Command.
At the working session, Major General Nguyen Duc Dung, Chief of Staff of Military Region 3 briefed the delegation on the unit’s task implementation in 2021.
In detail, the unit strictly maintained combat readiness, well performed COVID-19 prevention and control work, carried out defensive area, search and rescue exercises, as well as proactively coordinated with relevant forces to keep a close watch over situational developments, contributing to ensuring political security and social order in the areas.

Additionally, the unit made thorough preparation for the upcoming lunar New Year 2022 to ensure a happy and safe Tet holiday for its troops in line with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
Hailing the positive outcomes achieved by MR3 and the Hai Phong city Military Command, the general asked them to continue effectively implementing military and defense missions, maintaining combat readiness status, following regional situations, promoting information dissemination to encourage youth to accomplish their military service, and ensuring a safe, cozy, and economical Tet holiday for troops.
On behalf of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San presented gifts and sent Tet greetings to officers and soldiers from MR3 and Hai Phong's city Military Command.
