The event was part of the activities to mark the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 55th founding anniversary of the corps.

At the ceremony, the corps’ leader presented certificates of merit to ten outstanding young troops who have obtained significant achievements in youth movements and task performance; one groups and four individuals with awarded initiatives; outstanding groups and individuals in “Creative Youth” movement. 

Speaking at the event, Deputy Political Commissar of Commando Corps Senior Colonel Do Hoang Nhi acknowledged and praised youths in the whole corps for their efforts and readiness to overcome difficulties to obtain achievements in task implementation last year. 

In 2021, the Commando Corps’ youths have exerted utmost efforts and obtained achievements in youth movements and regular task implementation. Various outstanding groups and individuals were honored by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the General Department of Political Affairs, and the corps.

In particular, one group and one individual were presented with certificates of merit by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. One group was presented with the General Department of Political Affairs’ Emulation Flag, and many groups and individuals were acknowledged for their achievements in youth movements by the corps.

Regarding missions in the coming time, the corps’ deputy political commissar expected that young troops in the whole corps will continue upholding and bringing into play outcomes and promoting their vanguard role in carrying out and completing all assigned missions.
