Vietnamese Defense Ministry presents medical equipment to China

The gifts aim to assist China in preventing the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) from spreading.

Speaking at the event, General Kien shared difficulties and losses caused by the COVID-19 with the Chinese people. He highly appreciated the quick response of China in general and Chinese troops in particular to the disease and the country’s effective treatment for confirmed cases of doctors.

A Chinese representative sincerely thanked the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the Vietnamese military medicine force for providing high quality medical facilities for China while the country is still gathering all resources to respond to the COVID-19.

He emphasized that the timely material and spiritual support of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to China demonstrated the solidarity and friendship of the two militaries. It is also great encouragement for Chinese medical staff to contain the disease.
