At the reception, the two sides exchanged situations of each country and the outcomes of the bilateral cooperation on searching American soldiers reported missing in action in the Vietnam War.
They also showed their due attention to enhancing bilateral cooperation in carrying out humanitarian projects to relieve consequences of war such as clearing unexploded ordnance left by the war, tackling Agent Orange/Dioxin-related issues with an aim of stepping up the Vietnam-US relationship based on their comprehensive partnership.
