PANO – A mission of American medical personnel, led by Colonel Roland Fahie, Director of the Armed Services Blood Program, worked with Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defence on April 7th in Ho Chi Minh City.
During their working visit, the delegation helped Military Hospital 175’s doctors organize a training course and exchange experiences on applying advanced technologies in safe blood transfusion, contributing to improving quality treatment for soldiers and people.
The delegation also gave medical staff of the hospital advice on the process of blood preservation and preparation, blood tests, production of products from blood, blood transfusions, and observed some cases of clinical transfusion.
