Singaporean naval ship visits Khanh Hoa
PANO - Ship RSS ENDURANCE of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) with 180 crew-members, captained by Major Lee Kwok So, docked at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province on February 17, beginning their five-day visit to Vietnam.
The ship was welcomed by troops of Vietnam's Naval Region 4, headed by its Deputy Chief of Staff, Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Liem, and representatives of the Khanh Hoa provincial Department of External Affairs, the Office and the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense.

The visit, taking place when the bilateral relationship between the two countries and their defense ties have been developing, is part of the agreements signed previously by senior officers of the two defense ministries. It contributes to strengthening cooperation between the two navies in particular and the two armed forces in general.

During their stay, commanders of the Singaporean naval ship will pay courtesy calls to the provincial authorities and the Naval Region 4 Chain-of-Command. Additionally, the two countries' naval forces will visit each other's ships, join sport competitions, and tour local landscapes of Vietnam.
