PANO – Prestigious Russian universities such as Kazan National Research Technical University, Tyumen State Oil and Gas University and Saint Petersburg State University, etc. will boost cooperation with Vietnamese schools in a long-term education project, as released at a press conference on September 14th in Hanoi.

Accordingly, they will hold seminars, meetings, Olympic competitions and exchanges as well as promote cooperation with Vietnamese universities such as University of Transportation, University of Foreign Trade, and Hanoi Natural Sciences University in the future. This year alone, the Russian government presented 795 scholarships to Vietnamese students, a 200-fold increase compared to that of last year and they plan to hand over 1,000 scholarships to Vietnamese students in 2018.
This is part of the fourth phase of the "Russian universities" education project launched in March 2013 to improve cooperation in scientific researches, education and technological renewal.
