PANO – The Vietnam-Hungarian Friendship Union on August 19th held a friendship meeting on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Hungary. Also on this occasion, the union received the third-class Labour Order.

At the meeting, Pham Viet Son, Vice President of the union, held that the Vietnam Hungary diplomatic relation was established in wartime and has been maintained and developing until today.
The people of Hungary effectively supported Vietnam during wartime and peacetime, and now the two countries continue cooperating in various fields has seen encouraging achievements, especially in economics, culture, tourism, education and training, science and technology, etc.

Congratulating Vietnam on its 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, Hungarian Chargé d'Affaires to Vietnam Karolyi Marton hoped the two countries would boost the cooperation in the time to come, focusing on trade, education and training, etc.
