According to Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO), the tour is organized annually to introduce Vietnam’s historic relic sites and tourist attractions to international friends.
It helps promote exchanges and mutual understanding between Vietnam and foreign countries, Huong highlighted.
On behalf of the international delegates, Saddi Salama, Palestinian Ambassador to Vietnam, spoke highly of HUFO’s initiatives for organizing activities pushing solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and other nations.
The trip ended with a show of Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) and dancing and singing performance.
