Workshop to beef up Vietnam-China economic cooperation
PANO – Deputy Prime Minister (PM) Pham Binh Minh, President of the Steering Committee for Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation chaired a workshop on beefing up Vietnam-China economic cooperation on December 27.

Addressing the event, the Vietnamese Deputy PM welcomed the initiative to organize the workshop, considering it a good opportunity for ministries, agencies, localities, and organizations to comprehensively review achievements of the two countries’ economic cooperation.
He affirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy of promoting the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to develop in a stable, healthy, and sustainable way, including economic cooperation for mutual interests. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the workshop attracted 100 delegates from ministries, agencies, localities, universities, research institutes, and business associations. During the two-day event, participants focused on China’s external economic policy, investment cooperation, trade and tourism, and economic cooperation between the two countries as well as among localities of the two countries.
