Vietnam, China share hunger eradication and poverty reduction experience
PANO - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of localities of Vietnam, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam and authorities of China's Yunnan province, co-held a webinar virtually to share experience in hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
Addressing the event, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu suggested the two countries’ localities promote experience sharing in socio-economic development planning, boost trade and investment ties, carry out projects to improve social welfare and local lives, jointly fight the pandemic, and pay further attention to sustainable and inclusive growth.

At the event, both sides shared the view that hunger eradication and poverty reduction in each country have gained remarkable achievements, affirming the superiority of the socialism.
Furthermore, the two sides should also focus on raising people’s living quality, consider hunger eradication and poverty reduction an important task as well as basic and long-term tasks of every action program, especially amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
