Vietnam-China Friendship Palace handed over after maintenance
PANO - A ceremony to hand over the Hanoi-based Vietnam-China Friendship Palace after maintenance was jointly held on November 21 in Hanoi by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the management board of the project.
The important project with political and diplomatic significance was funded by the Chinese Party, State, Government and people while its facilities were contributed by the Vietnamese side.

Addressing the ceremony, VUFO Vice Chairman and General Secretary Don Tuan Phong said that the palace, jointly funded by the Chinese and Vietnamese Governments, is an important project symbolizing the friendship between the two countries.
At the event, representatives of the five participating construction units signed a document to hand over the project under the witness of VUFO Vice Chairman and General Secretary Don Tuan Phong and Charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam Yin Haihong.
On the occasion, three Chinese construction companies and eight experts were honored with certificates of merit and “For peace and friendship among nations” insignia of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.
