Kommersant.ru underlined Man's strong desire to bolster cooperation with Russia across various sectors, aiming to benefit both countries and contribute to global and regional peace, stability and development. In response, Putin conveyed his best wishes to Vietnamese Party General Secretary and President To Lam and expressed his sympathy to Vietnam over the severe damage caused by Typhoon Yagi.

Both Aif.ru and Vzglyad.ru highlighted Putin's gratitude for the warm welcome Man extended during his visit to Hanoi. Putin was quoted as saying "I often recall those meetings in Hanoi. Once again, I would like to thank you for the warm and cordial reception. I am very pleased to host you in Moscow".

Lenta.ru underscored Man's wish to continue hosting Russian leaders in Vietnam, emphasizing Russia's status as one of Vietnam's top strategic partners.

Meanwhile, Petr Tsvetov, Associate Professor of International Relations at the Russian Diplomatic Academy, noted the historical significance of Putin receiving heads of state at the Kremlin. He said the reception for Man there illustrates the particularly strong bond between Russia and Vietnam, with the visit aiming to realize previously agreed-upon agreements.

According to him, Vietnam's foreign policy is aligning closely with Russia, encompassing political, technical-military, and humanitarian ties, unlike some partners that focus solely on economic relations.

Aleksey Yaroshenko, head of the center for expert support in political processes, believed that Putin's reception for the Vietnamese N.A. Chairman demonstrates Russia's high level of respect for this Asian country.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation’s news site, kprf.ru, published an article accompanied by a photo series of the meeting between its General Secretary Gennady Zyuganov and Man.

Zyuganov congratulated President To Lam on his election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and expressed his condolences on the passing of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

He affirmed his belief that the late General Secretary’s sound and correct political path would continue to be followed, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
