He also confirmed that the precious relationship between the two countries has been nurtured and fostered by late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Mao Zedong, as well as generations of the two countries’ leaders and peoples.

Quan hoped that the CYLC and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam would further their cooperation in an intensive manner, boost ideological education for youths, and promote youths’ roles and engagement in new areas, cyber space, Industrial 4.0 and in struggle against “color” revolutions.

The Vietnamese official also believed that the CYLC and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in particular and the two countries’ young generations would be aware of their responsibilities and missions to continue to develop the friendship between the two countries.

For his part, Mr.  Zhenbang said that the Central Committee of the CYLC will carry out more practical activities to promote the friendship between China and its neighboring countries, including Vietnam.

In the evening, the same day, the 18th Vietnam-China youth friendship program opened in Hanoi.
