PM leaves for official visit to Japan
Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc, his spouse and a high-ranking delegation of the Government left Hanoi on June 4 morning for an official visit to Japan and the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia from June 4-8 at the invitation of Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.
He is accompanied by Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, among others.

The visit aims to affirm that Vietnam attaches importance to enhancing and deepening the extensive strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields, accelerating economic-trade and investment ties at central and local levels.
It also reflects the active role played by Vietnam in the region as well as the country’s viewpoint on globalization process.
PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia.
