In a meeting with the Vietnamese leader in Beijing on June 26, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President of China Xi Jinping stated that the two parties and countries have maintained close high-level exchanges, with cooperation across sectors achieving favorable progress, bringing practical benefits to the people of both nations, the media reported.

China is ready to cooperate with Vietnam to strengthen strategic orientation, focusing on persisting in solidarity and friendship, supporting each other, deepening win-win cooperation, joining hands towards modernization, and contributing to peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the world, the Chinese leader said.

Xi affirmed that China is willing to support its enterprises in increasing investment in Vietnam, and expressed his hope that Vietnam will create favorable business condition and environment for Chinese investors.

Speaking at a meeting with PM Chinh on the same day, Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, said that his agency is ready to cooperate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee to help promote the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future.

Earlier, in the talks with the Vietnamese leader, Chinese Premier Li Qiang affirmed that China prioritizes the development of China-Vietnam bilateral relations in its foreign policy. China is ready to further strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges with Vietnam, as well as cooperation in such areas as tourism, healthcare, education, and youth.
