On July 8, the association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), marking a milestone in fostering strategic partnerships between the two business communities.

Vu Kim Hanh, Chairwoman of the association, told the Vietnam News Agency that representatives from the Vietnamese Trade Office and Embassy in the Republic of Korea (RoK) attended the fair, engaging directly with exhibitors, a gesture that reflects their strong support for trade promotion efforts.

She said that coming to the event, Vietnamese firms are not only seeking buyers but also looking to gain deeper insights into consumer preferences and connect with strategic partners.

This year’s fair features over 200 companies and brands from 40 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Products on display include food, consumer goods, specialty items, and concept products. A significant number of online and offline distributors are attending, with active B2B discussions and one-on-one meetings taking place throughout the event.

Beyond exhibiting at the fair and signing cooperation deals, the Vietnamese delegation is also exploring potential import partners and distribution channels in the RoK, according to Hanh.

With thorough preparation and support from relevant authorities, the delegation hopes to achieve meaningful outcomes that will boost Vietnam’s exports and strengthen the international reputation of Vietnamese products.
