Vietnam’s chili sauce makes debut in Japanese market
The nation’s Chin-Su Chili Sauce, a product of Masan Consumer Corporation, officially went on sale in Japan from August 3 as announced on Vietnam Food Day, which was held in the consulate general of Vietnam in Osaka.
Vietnam Food Day has been organised to celebrate the nation’s Chin-Su Chili Sauce entering the Japanese market.
Meanwhile, Pham Hong Son, deputy general director of Masan Consumer Corporation, held the introduction of Chin-Su Chili Sauce represents a step in a process to build and develop Vietnamese brands in an international arena.

For his part, Vu Tuan Hai, the Vietnamese consul general in Osaka, said he hopes the event would serve to greatly contribute to developing economic ties between the two nations through the introduction of consumer items.
Makoto Ryoke, head of the Health Promotion Office in Osaka, noted that the event helps to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries. With Vietnam’s cuisine culture being introduced in Japan, it is hoped that the country’s products will become more popular in the daily lives of local people.
