PANO - In the first five months of 2006, Vietnamese companies invested in a further seven projects abroad, totalling over US$35mil in registered capital, the Ministry of Planning and Investment reported.

Most of the overseas projects are in Laos, Cambodia, the US, Malaysia and Singapore.

There are several large-scale projects, including the $10.5mil Cho Ray – Phnom Penh Hospital in Cambodia, and a $21.94mil project to explore oil and gas in Singapore.
