Vietnam Railway has decided to invest VND 30 billion to upgrade the railway though Hai Van Pass.

The railway was seriously affected during the raining season last year.

The reparation and upgrade was done in response to the Prime Minister’s direction, with total investment near VND 200 billion.

So far, 34 reparation and upgrade articles have been completed with good quality.

As scheduled, the project will be completed by September 30th and will prevent rock and dirt slides from the mountain that block traffic during the raining seasons.
