This was among key activities of the program “Proud of Vietnamese goods - Quintessence of Vietnamese goods” in 2022 under the domestic market development project coupled with the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” in the 2021-2025 period.

Addressing the event, Deputy Director of the Domestic Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade Le Viet Nga said that implementing the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods,” businesses have regularly cooperated with each other, from production, distribution, circulation to trading of goods to customers, creating a sustainable supply network of goods, even during the recent COVID-19 outbreak. 

According to the official, in this year’s program themed “Quintessence of Vietnamese goods,” customers will have more opportunities to freely shop high quality Vietnamese products and brands.

As scheduled, during the week, supermarkets, stores and supermarkets will give priority to displaying Vietnamese products and conduct other activities to attract more consumers to Vietnamese goods.

In response to the week, Saigon Co.op has set aside a space to introduce Vietnamese brands, said Le Van Liem, Saigon Co.op Director in the North.

Earlier, from October 28-30, a festival under the theme “Proud of Vietnamese goods – Quintessence of Vietnamese goods,” held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, took place at the Hoan Kiem lake walking street in Hanoi, during which nearly 100 units, including large production and distribution corporations, cooperatives, small production households in mountainous, remote areas and on islands introduced diverse and plentiful Vietnamese goods with high quality.
