At the working session with DABACO Group, the Prime Minister (PM) and delegates were briefed by President of the company Nguyen Nhu So on the company’s outcomes during the past 20 years of its development.
20 years ago, the company was only small-sized enterprise with 657 million VND of capital and 28 employees. It has now become a multi-sector economic group, which has 50 affiliated companies and factories with assets totaling 5,500 billion VND, including 2,300 billion VND belonging to the parental company.

The whole group employs 5,000 experts and labors with the average per head income of 9 million VND per month, and provides millions of jobs in involved sectors.
DABACO Group specializes in eight major areas: breeding, animal feeds, concentrated husbandry, butchery and meat processing, packing production, trade and services, hi-tech production of vegetables, and construction and property.
Nevertheless, the strategic business areas are husbandry, butchery and meat processing, and animal feed production. To develop its spearheaded business areas, it has continuously invested much in R&D and production facilities, creating new high-quality breeds and products as well as promoted cooperation with international partners, such as Canada, Denmark, Spain and the USA.

PM Phuc hailed the restless efforts of the group’s leaders and workers, and highlighted its orientation to develop into a hi-tech agricultural consortium as a breakthrough, bring more profits to both company and employees. The PM also asked the group to strictly control the quality of its products, considering it the best way to expand its brand, and to contribute more to socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province in particular and the country as a whole.
During his working visit to Samsung Display Ltd. Vietnam, the PM and delegates were reported on the company’s production and business situation in the past years. Reports say, Samsung has 6 factories (the largest one located in Bac Ninh) in Vietnam and employs 136,000 local labors. According to the company’s leaders, the number of its employees will reach 150,000 by the end of 2017.
Its turnover stood at US$ 2.3 billion in 2015 and went up to US$ 4.6 billion in 2016, and is expected to double or even triple the 2016’s figure.
The PM recognized and applauded the impressive outcomes of the company’s business and scientific research, contributing to confirming the position and quality of its products on the domestic and international markets.
The PM underscored that the relationship between Vietnam and South Korea is flourishing so the leadership of Bac Ninh Province should create a favorable condition for and give more priority for Samsung Display Ltd. Vietnam to expand its business in the province and the country as a whole.
